Dreamers’ Day will hold its #235 screening on January 28 at iCinema. French-Mauritanian drama film of 2014 “Timbutku” will be shown at the event.
The film is set not far from the ancient Malian city of Timbuktu, where proud cattle herder Kidane lives peacefully in the dunes with his family. In town, the people suffer from the regime of terror imposed by the Jihadists determined to control their faith.
The film won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury and the Francois Chalais Prize at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
