Young freelance photographer B.Bat-Orgil is showing his second solo exhibition, “Metro Metropolis Metrosexual”, at Gamma Gallery in Hunnu Mall through February 5.
The exhibition includes over 45 photos taken between 2012 and 2014. The photographs on view were taken in Moscow (where the photographer attended university), Kharkhorum (the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire), and Ulaanbaatar.
Since buying his first film camera in 2002, B.Bat-Orgil has taken part in several group exhibitions.
B.Bat-Orgil says he created “Metro Metropolis Metrosexual” to bequeath a documentary photograph archive of some of the world’s metropolises to future generations.
He noted that the main focus of the exhibition is to educate the public, especially the youth, and to develop urban culture.
