Young artist M.Amartuvshin is showing his first solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of the Union of Mongolian Artists (UMA) through January 14. The exhibition includes over 70 artworks.
All of the work for “My Journey in Europe” was produced while M.Amartuvshin was living in Europe. He headed to Europe after graduating from the Mongolian State University of Culture and Arts in 2012.
He lived in France for three years and participated in two exhibitions there. M.Amartuvshin said that he was the winner of the Art Cambi exhibition held in Laval, France.
M.Amartuvshin said that he likes concentrating on artwork that requires him to capture the feeling of any given moment.
He noted that his mentor, Ts.Narangerel, a famous Mongolian artist, has taught him a lot through his experience, and that he wants to become a famous artist like his mentor.
