President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj will depart for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on June 14 for a two-day state visit in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
During the state visit, President Ts.Elbegdorj will hold bilateral discussions with the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Htin Kyaw, and exchange views on bilateral and international cooperation, deepening Mongolia-Myanmar strategic partnership relations, strengthening economic relations and cooperation, and improving cooperation in all sectors, mainly in trade, the economy, and mining.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Aung San Suu Kyi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Ohn Win, and Head of the Central Bank of Myanmar U Kyaw Kyaw Maung have also requested an audience with the Mongolian President for important negotiations during his visit. A seminar on proper management of natural resources and a business meeting for Mongolian and Burmese entrepreneurs have been scheduled during the state visit.
The business meeting is expected to be significant for studying the investment and business environments in both countries and opening a new market for Mongolian businesses.
